Nearly three weeks ago I began part two of project year abroad in the beautiful French capital! It’s been a real blur these past few weeks with the dreaded admin associated with moving country but the lure of Paris has already brought several visitors, making settling in that little bit easier!

The challenge this time is a three month internship with a university preparation company, which is very different from the social media and travel days of Barcelona. I’m hoping I’ll be improving my French along the way but seeing as it’s still early days I’m just muddling my way through!

I’m ashamed to admit I haven’t done the typical tourist things like the Louvre or gone up the Eiffel Tower, but they’re on my list I promise! The weather has been so bizarre, gifting us this side of the channel with some spectacularly sunny days, which I seriously need after days cooped up in the office!

So just a quick post to check in as I’ve been a bit AWOL lately, but I’ll be keeping you up to date on this country girl’s adventure in the chic big city!
