It’s been over half a year since I left England for Barcelona, starting my year abroad, and the time has finally come to head home.

It’s been a roller coaster ride, filled with ups and downs of course, but Barcelona has been great. A full time internship has kept me busy, challenged me and in the end helped narrow down what I may do after graduation. It’s definitely been a growing experience and I’m realising that this year abroad is a great crash course in what to expect when I enter the big wide world of work!

Whilst living in Spain has been fun, I cannot wait to get back to the land of over politeness, sarcastic humour and a passion for queuing! First thing on the list is to snuggle into some cosy knitwear and have a proper British brew.
